Setting Up the AI Cool AppUpdated 2 months ago

Overview

AI Cool is the translation companion app for Harmonix TravelerAI and SonaVue devices.
It provides real-time, cloud-based translation directly through your earbuds, allowing you to communicate effortlessly in multiple languages.

If you're experiencing issues with setup or connection, follow this guide to get started quickly.


App Installation and Registration

Register and Verify Your Account

  1. Open the app and sign up using your email.

  2. A verification code will be sent to your email. Enter it to activate your account.

  3. Your TravelerAI or SonaVue headset will automatically link to your account using the model number and device MAC address.

If your headset isn’t detected automatically:
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, pair the device manually, and return to the AI Cool app.


Connecting Your Device

Pairing Steps

  1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case at the same time. The lights should flash white and blue — this means they’re in pairing mode.

  2. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and select your TravelerAI model (for example, T101, T110, or T120).

  3. Once paired, open the AI Cool app. The app should recognize your connected headset.

Important:
Do not clear your headset’s Bluetooth pairing history unless instructed. This can change the Bluetooth address and prevent AI Cool from connecting properly.


Setting Up Translation

  1. Open the AI Cool app and log in.

  2. Tap Simultaneous Interpretation to start.

  3. Select your translation languages (from and to).

  4. Choose your output mode:

    • Earphone Mode (default)

    • Normal Mode (chronological text)

    • Talk Mode (split by speaker)

    • Block Mode (split screen)

  5. Tap the green microphone to begin translating.

  6. Tap the red button to stop.

Note:
Pause or stop any other audio before starting translation to prevent sound overlap.

Advanced Troubleshooting

Re-pair Earbuds Together
If left and right earbuds aren’t syncing, tap both touch buttons five times simultaneously to reset and re-pair.

Reinstall the App
Uninstall and reinstall AI Cool, then log in again.

Reset the Device
Place earbuds in the charging case, hold both touch buttons for 10 seconds, and re-pair once they reboot.

Still Having Issues?
Restart your phone and repeat the setup from the beginning.


Tips for Best Performance

  • Keep your headset and phone within 10 meters.

  • Ensure a stable WiFi or mobile network.

  • Store earbuds in a cool, dry place when not in use.

  • Recharge regularly to maintain optimal battery health.

  • Avoid using during driving or in areas where wireless devices are restricted.
